Ratification Meetings. Bargaining unit employees will be permitted, subject to the operational needs of the University, up to one (1) hour of paid release time to travel to and attend a Union ratification meeting when the ratification meeting occurs during their normal work schedules. Additional paid release time may be offered by the University within its sole discretion to certain employees based upon their circumstances (such as Union representatives and employees working at remote locations) or as part of a separate agreement with the Union.
Ratification Meetings. The Administration shall grant time off from work of up to two (2) hours to night shift employees to attend a ratification meeting to settle the negotiated agreement. This time is to be granted only to employees eligible to vote at the meeting. Employees shall perform all work necessary for school operations without additional pay. The number of such meetings shall be limited to one (1) per contract, except by mutual agreement.
