Professional Learning Program. 1. The District has established a Professional Learning Program which shall meet the Professional Learning needs of teachers. The Professional Learning program shall be developed within the guidelines of the State Plan for Professional Learning which was adopted by the Kansas State Board of Education to meet licensure requirements. The District has established an approved plan for Professional Learning to count credit points for horizontal movement to columns 2 through 4 and 6 through 9 on the Salary schedule (see Appendices).

Professional Learning Program. 39.1 The intent of this incentive-based professional learning program is to encourage unit members to voluntarily gain increased knowledge and skills which enhance their ability to fulfill the mission of the District; to provide an opportunity for advancement to new positions; or to provide the unit member with the awareness of the importance of increased knowledge and skill needed to fulfill his/her role in the education of students. This is an award type program based upon the accumulation of points which will eventually translate into a professional learning award.
Professional Learning Program. 1. The process by which the professional learning activities will be provided for the certified staff of the District will be in compliance with the guidelines and specification stated in the District Professional Learning Plan Handbook and the guidelines of the Kansas State Department of Education. This Plan handbook was filed with the KSDE pursuant to State Board of Education Rules and Regulations.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Professional Growth Program There shall be a Professional Growth Program in place for all classified employees. Professional Growth is an organized activity designed to improve performance of employees in the classified service and to provide training for employees to gain new skills and abilities, to broaden their opportunity for promotion, to engage in study and related activities designed to retain and extend the high standards of the classified employee.

  • Professional Leaves 1. Professional Leaves are to be used by an employee to gain knowledge for the position contracted through Bath Local Schools. The employee must request Professional Leave through the employee kiosk. Upon approval, the employee may be permitted to attend the Professional Meeting and will be paid at the regular rate.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

  • Scope of Professional Services 3.1 On the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, COUNTY hereby engages CONTRACTOR to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the Project/Service in accordance with the Scope of Services, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Attachment A, as modified or clarified by Addendum(s) # , dated , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Attachment B. It is understood that the Scope of Services may be modified by change order as the Project/Service progresses, but to be effective and binding, any such change order must be in writing, executed by the parties, and in accordance with the COUNTY’s Purchasing Policies and Procedures. A copy of these policies and procedures shall be made available to the CONTRACTOR upon request.
