Professional Development Pay. The District shall pay teachers who, at the request of the District and with the agreement of the teacher, train other District employees or engage in district-required professional development outside the regular contract hours. Professional development outside of the District, i.e. conferences requiring travel, State Conferences, and National conferences are excluded. The rate of pay for such Teacher duties shall be .00080 x the base Teacher pay per hour.

Professional Development Pay. Assistants who attend professional development and/or inservice during their regularly scheduled working hours will be paid at their regular rate of pay. The parties agree that during the term of this agreement, each LEA noon assistant may receive three (3) hours of professional development; and all other LEA members may receive six (6) hours of professional development. Assistants who are authorized by their building administrator to attend additional professional development and/or inservice during district designated professional development days shall be compensated at their normal pay rate.
Professional Development Pay. 1. Each school year, the district shall publish offerings of at least thirty (30) hours of required district provided professional development (DPPD) which shall be offered during the regularly scheduled workday and may be used by teachers in the renewal of his/her teaching certificate. The district will maintain a list of such offerings and identify the Michigan Department of Education (“MDE”) category for each professional development session offered by the district.
Professional Development Pay. Effective September 1, 2010, and for the duration of the contract, 1.0 FTE staff will be eligible to receive up to twenty-five (25) hours of staff development per year paid at the professional hourly rate. Staff who are acting as an approved instructor for applicable offerings under this section and pursuant to Section 5.13.5 may be compensated at Per Diem rate. Total professional rate or Per Diem rate compensation may not exceed the amount established by this section. Funds associated with this provision are contingent upon a levy lid of 28.97% and will become null and void if the levy lid falls below its current statutory percentage.

  • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund.   • Professional Development Day The Employees shall be entitled to spend three (3) working days with pay for the purpose of doing research and preparation related to their work at a date mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Employee.

  • Professional Development Days Upon request, each Employee shall be granted at least three (3) professional development days annually for professional development, at the Basic Rate of Pay. An Employee shall be advised, prior to taking any professional development days of any transportation, registration fees, subsistence and other expenses that will be paid by the Employer. Such hours not used in each fiscal year shall not be carried forward into subsequent years. Applications for such paid professional development opportunities shall be made in writing, to the Employer as early as possible.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.
