PORTABILITY OF BENEFITS. (b) Notwithstanding the foregoing, new regular part-time employees who are hired may, at the time of hiring, decline being covered by the Municipal Pension Plan for the period of their regular part-time employment.

An employee who accepts employment in a School District listed in Part II, First Schedule of the Public Service Labour Relations Act within eighteen (18) months of the resignation date from a School District listed in Part II of such Act shall be deemed to have been on leave of absence without pay for this period. PORTABILITY OF BENEFITS. ≈ 31.01 In the event the Employer hires an Employee to a Regular position in a CUPE Bargaining Unit to commence work within three (3) months of the Employee leaving employment with any of the Employers listed below, when the Employee has not been terminated for cause or retired in accordance with the NSHEPP Pension Plan, the Employee shall have service with the previous Employer recognized for vacation entitlement, retirement allowance and increment placement, but, unless Article 31.02 applies, not seniority. Accumulated sick leave benefits shall be recognized by the hiring Employer. Qualifying periods under the Benefits Plans of the hiring Employer will be as set out in the Plans. This provision is not applicable to a Casual Employee. PORTABILITY OF BENEFITS. 14.01 A Resident who is on an educational rotation approved by the Program Director shall be entitled to portability of benefits specified below among Employers in which RDBC is certified as bargaining agent, or any other Employer mutually agreed upon by the parties to this Agreement.
PORTABILITY OF BENEFITS. An employee of the City of Victoria who was employed outside the CUPE Local 50 bargaining unit immediately before being appointed to a position within the bargaining unit shall have that prior service with the City recognized for purposes of determining benefit entitlements based on length of service. Seniority is excluded from this clause. Previous sick leave accrued shall be carried forward into the CUPE Local 50 bargaining unit.
