Lord of Life photo policy states that, unless an individual, family, group or other entity specifically directs Lord of Life Lutheran Church not to use photos containing their image or likeness, those photos may be made available for use in church communications. Additionally, the name(s) of any pictured individual(s) will never be published alongside a photograph in any medium, print or online unless specifically permitted by the individual(s). The appropriate forms to do so are available from the Director, Communications, or the Church Administrator.

PHOTO USAGE. I understand my child may be photographed or filmed during live classes or as a natural part of field trips or school activities and community gatherings such as LINK, and that Xxxxxx Xxxx Academy may use these images in communications or publications including the WHA website, newsletters, the WHA Facebook page, Twitter, etc. From time to time, live class archives or portions of those archives may be provided to potential customers as part of marketing the school. A student’s full name will not be posted alongside a photograph or on a video that is used for external viewing without the explicit permission of a parent or guardian. Classroom Etiquette & Rules of Behavior: The registering of a student is an affirmation that parents and Student have read and agree with these standards: o Biblical behavior standards will be followed at all times. o Discussion is encouraged, but normal consideration for others is expected. This includes refraining from interruptions and ensuring that discussions are germane to the topic at hand. Chat facilities are intended to enhance class participation and should not be used in a manner that becomes a distraction for the student or others. The teacher has the final say on this topic. o Background noise or music is not permitted. o Students, Parents, and Auditors may not share passwords and logins with anyone without express written permission by Xxxxxx Xxxx Academy. Students may be expelled without refund for inappropriate behavior in the classroom. Adherence to Social Media Policy: Xxxxxx Xxxx Academy welcomes the use of social media as part of participation in the school, seeing it as a way to leverage technology in the interests of furthering the mission of the school. Recognizing that technology also provides a false sense of anonymity that can lead to inappropriate usage, however, WHA holds employees, teachers, students and their parents to a high standard of conduct related to the use of social media as it relates to the school. On-line social media interaction between individuals is essentially no different than face-to-face interaction, and should therefore follow Biblical guidelines of propriety. This includes but is not limited to the following: o Posting of negative or pejorative comments about other students, teachers or the school itself without having first followed the guidelines implicit in Xxxxxxx 18 will not be tolerated. o Developing and maintaining on-line “friend” relationships between students and teache...
PHOTO USAGE. Photographer retains all copyright and moral rights to each image or purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing, for any product or services. Client also retains rights to use images for promotional and advertising purposes. Client agrees that selling images without obtaining written permission from Photographer is prohibited. All photographs are delivered digitally, unless otherwise stated. High resolution images will be provided upon request for a fee of: No Charge. Payment / Delivery Client waives rights to review or approve any uses of the images. Unedited or RAW images will not be delivered; as these are considered “unfinished”. No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full. Images are typically delivered within 14 days of the event; depending on the number of images taken. Cancellation/Loss Due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return any deposit or sitting fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the Client’s order. Photographer may substitute another photographer to take the photographs in the event of Photographer’s illness or of scheduling conflicts. In the event of such substitution, Photographer warrants that the photographer taking the photographs shall be a competent professional. This contract incorporates the entire understanding of the parties. Any modifications of this Contract must be in writing and signed by both parties.
