Payment in Lieu. If an employer makes payment in lieu for all or any of the period of notice prescribed, the period for which such payment is made must be treated as service with the employer for the purposes of computing any service related entitlement of the employee.
Payment in Lieu. In the event of termination of the Executive’s employment due to the voluntary resignation by the Executive, the Company may, in its sole and absolute discretion, at any time after notice of termination has been given by the Executive, terminate this Agreement, provided that the Company shall pay to the Executive his then current Salary and continue benefits provided pursuant to Section 3(c) for the duration of the unexpired notice period.
Payment in Lieu. (a) Where an employee ceases employment, other than by death, the employee is entitled to payment in lieu of any accrued recreation leave entitlement.
Payment in Lieu. The Company may, in its sole discretion, at any time after notice of termination without Good Reason has been given to the Company by the Executive, terminate this Agreement, provided that, in addition to any amount payable to the Executive under Section 6(g) herein, the Company shall pay to the Executive (without duplication) his then current Salary and continue benefits provided pursuant to Section 3(d) herein, for the duration of the unexpired notice period.
Payment in Lieu. If the Employer makes payments in lieu for all or any of the period of notice prescribed, then the period for which such payment is made shall be treated as service for the purposes of computing any service related entitlement of the Employee arising pursuant to this agreement.
Payment in Lieu. The salary cap for the Social Security portion of FICA (6.2%) is $128,400 in 2018 while the Medicare portion (1.45%) on compensation up to $200,000 and 2.35% above $200,000. It is important that congregations NOT pay FICA directly for the minister to the IRS, but rather the in-lieu payment should be paid to the minister who must make quarterly self-employment taxes.
Payment in Lieu. 21.4.1 The University will not make any payment in lieu of unused Annual or Accumulated Sick Leave Allowance.
Payment in Lieu. 11.3.4.1 If the School makes payment in lieu for all or any of the period of notice prescribed, the period for which such payment is made must be treated as service with the School for the purposes of computing any service related entitlement of the employee.
Payment in Lieu. If G4S makes payments in lieu for all or any of the period of notice prescribed, then the period for which such payment is made shall be treated as service for the purposes of computing any service related entitlement of the employee arising pursuant to this Agreement.
Payment in Lieu. 27.4.1 Except as provided in this clause, an employer will not make payment in lieu of any long service leave or part thereof to a teacher or the teacher’s personal representative.
