Participating Physician. A physician or a member of a Medical Group that has a contract in effect with Contractor to provide Covered Services to Enrollees.

Participating Physician. A physician licensed to practice in Rhode Island who has contracted with or is employed by the Contractor to furnish services covered in this Contract.
Participating Physician. A fully licensed physician or entity authorized to practice medicine who has entered into a Participating Physician Agreement with WellCare directly or indirectly.
Participating Physician. Duly licensed doctor of medicine, dentistry, psychiatry, osteopathic medicine, doctor of chiropractic or podiatric medicine, each respectively having an unrestricted license to practice in the jurisdiction in which such individual’s services are to be provided, including, if applicable an unrestricted license to prescribe controlled medications, substances and supplies. Each Participating Physician must be credentialed pursuant to Health Plan’s credentialing criteria and have a contract with Health Plan to be considered “participating.”
Participating Physician. A doctor of medicine that is legally authorized to practice medicine and surgery within the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and has in effect a contract with the ADMINISTRATION or TPA.

  • Annual Physical The Executive may, if the Executive so elects, within the twelve (12) months following the Date of Termination, receive an annual physical at the Company’s expense consistent with the physical provided under, and subject to the requirements of, the Company’s annual physical program as in effect immediately prior to the Date of Termination.

  • Covered Services Services to be performed by Contractor under this Agreement may involve the performance of trade work covered by the provisions of Section 6.22(e) [Prevailing Wages] of the Administrative Code or Section 21C [Miscellaneous Prevailing Wage Requirements] (collectively, “Covered Services”). The provisions of Section 6.22(e) and 21C of the Administrative Code are incorporated as provisions of this Agreement as if fully set forth herein and will apply to any Covered Services performed by Contractor and its subcontractors.

  • Medical Director The Contractor shall employ the services of a Medical Director who is a licensed Indiana Health Care Provider (IHCP) provider board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. If the Medical Director is not board certified in family medicine, they shall be supported by a clinical team with experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, adult medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The Medical Director shall be dedicated full-time to the Contractor’s Indiana Medicaid product lines. The Medical Director shall oversee the development and implementation of the Contractor’s disease management, case management and care management programs; oversee the development of the Contractor’s clinical practice guidelines; review any potential quality of care problems; oversee the Contractor’s clinical management program and programs that address special needs populations; oversee health screenings; serve as the Contractor’s medical professional interface with the Contractor’s primary medical providers (PMPs) and specialty providers; and direct the Quality Management and Utilization Management programs, including, but not limited to, monitoring, corrective actions and other quality management, utilization management or program integrity activities. The Medical Director, in close coordination with other key staff, is responsible for ensuring that the medical management and quality management components of the Contractor’s operations are in compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Medical Director shall work closely with the Pharmacy Director to ensure compliance with pharmacy-related responsibilities set forth in Section 3.4. The Medical Director shall attend all OMPP quality meetings, including the Quality Strategy Committee meetings. If the Medical Director is unable to attend an OMPP quality meeting, the Medical Director shall designate a representative to take his or her place. Notwithstanding the Medical Director ‘s sending of a representative, the Medical Director shall be responsible for knowing and taking appropriate action on all agenda and action items from all OMPP quality meetings.

  • Sales Representatives 22.01 The Employer agree that sales representatives will not per- form work in its stores on items shipped through the warehouse, ex- cept for major promotional periods. In the event that a product line which is currently shipped direct to stores is converted into our xxxx- house, the sales representatives may continue to perform work on these items. Where practicable, the Company shall provide the Union with 4 weeks notice of such conversions.

  • Medical Examination Where the Employer requires an employee to submit to a medical examination or medical interview, it shall be at the Employer's expense and on the Employer's time.

  • Sales Force During the term of this Agreement, Licensee shall maintain a non-exclusive sales force suitable to carry out the purpose of this Agreement.

  • Joint Manufacturing Committee Promptly after the Effective Date, the Parties shall establish a Joint Manufacturing Committee (the “Joint Manufacturing Committee” or “JMC”) to oversee Manufacturing activities related to the Territory, subject to the terms of this Agreement and the oversight of the JSC. The JMC shall be responsible, without limitation, for the following:

  • Post-Employment Activities 6.1 During the term of employment hereunder, and for a period of one year after termination of employment, regardless of the reason for such termination other than by the Corporation or Partnership without Cause or by the Executive for Good Reason, the Executive shall not directly or indirectly become employed by, act as a consultant to, or otherwise render any services to any person, corporation, partnership or other entity which is engaged in, or about to become engaged in, the retail shopping center business or any other business which is competitive with the business of the Corporation, the Partnership or any of their subsidiaries nor shall Executive use Executive's talents to make any such business competitive with the business of the Corporation, the Partnership or any of their subsidiaries. For the purpose of this Section, a retail shopping center business or other business shall be deemed to be competitive if it involves the ownership, operation, leasing or management of any retail shopping centers which draw from the same related trade area, which is deemed to be within a radius of 10 miles from the location of (a) any then existing shopping centers of the Corporation, the Partnership or any of their subsidiaries or (b) any proposed centers for which the site is owned or under contract, is under construction or is actively being negotiated. The Executive shall be deemed to be directly or indirectly engaged in a business if Executive participates therein as a director, officer, stockholder, employee, agent, consultant, manager, salesman, partner or individual proprietor, or as an investor who has made advances or loans, contributions to capital or expenditures for the purchase of stock, or in any capacity or manner whatsoever; provided, however, that the foregoing shall not be deemed to prevent the Executive from investing in securities if such class of securities in which the investment is so made is listed on a national securities exchange or is issued by a company registered under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, so long as such investment holdings do not, in the aggregate, constitute more than 1% of the voting stock of any company's securities.
