Erosion and Sediment Control The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.
IRANIAN ENERGY SECTOR DIVESTMENT In accordance with Section 2879-c of the Public Authorities Law, by signing this contract, each person and each person signing on behalf of any other party certifies, and in the case of a joint bid or partnership each party thereto certifies as to its own organization, under penalty of perjury, that to the best of its knowledge and belief that each person is not on the list created pursuant to paragraph (b) of subdivision 3 of Section 165-a of the State Finance Law (See xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iran-divestment-act-2012).
Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.
Foreign Ownership Seller is not a “foreign person” as that term is defined in the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and the regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, and Buyer has no obligation under Section 1445 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, to withhold and pay over to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service any part of the “amount realized” by Seller in the transaction contemplated hereby (as such term is defined in the regulations issued under said Section 1445).
Infection Control Consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Guideline for Infection Control in Health Care Personnel, and University Policy 3364-109-EH-603, the parties agree that all bargaining unit employees who come in contact with patients in the hospital or ambulatory care clinics will need to be vaccinated against influenza when flu season begins each fall. The influenza vaccine will be offered to all health care workers, including pregnant women, before the influenza season, unless otherwise medically contraindicated or it compromises sincerely held religious beliefs.
Recruitment Through Jobcentre Plus 5.1 One of the key objectives of the Department for Work and Pensions is to move people from welfare into work. DWP has a Great Britain-wide network of Jobcentre Plus offices that provide job broking services for unemployed people. The Contractor is therefore required to notify Jobcentre Plus when recruiting staff for any entry-level job vacancies located within Great Britain, which may arise from the delivery of their contract to the Authority.
SUBSIDY CONTROL 29.1 The Provider should satisfy itself, if the Subsidy Control Rules apply to the Funding received in relation to the Services delivered under this Agreement. Transportation Employees 20.1 Bus drivers shall be paid for actual time worked.
Ownership and Location of Metering Equipment The Metering Equipment to be constructed, the capability of the Metering Equipment to be constructed, and the ownership thereof, are identified on the attached Schedule C to this ISA.
Export Control Compliance User acknowledges that Center is an open laboratory for fundamental research that has many foreign persons as its employees and students. User understands and agrees that under no circumstances will User bring export control-listed items, or unpublished software source code or technical information in the form of defense articles or technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), to Center. Use of Center or facilities for activity subject to the ITAR, including the development, assembly or fabrication of defense articles identified on the US Munitions List, is prohibited.
