Library Services. Library services are provided free to residents and they are welcome to use libraries located on the IMMC/BCH and ILH campuses. Databases for end-user searching are available on the library’s web page, including Access Medicine, Natural Standard, MDConsult, OVID Medline and Cochrane. Other services including literature searches, document retrieval, interlibrary loan and photocopying are also available.

Library Services. Students who choose to check out a book(s) from the St. Xxxxxxx School Library are expected to return the book(s) by its due date and in the same condition as when it was checked out. Library services will be suspended until the book is returned. A balance statement of fees for non-returned or damaged books will be sent home as needed. Students are expected to notify the school Librarian if a book has been lost and cannot be returned, as well as explain any damage done to the book. The School Librarian reserves the right to suspend library services for the student for a given time period. Payment for the damaged property will be assessed and restitution will need to be made. Families with past due balances at the time registration is due, will not be allowed to register for the upcoming school year until the account is current. It is expected that families who experience a hardship during the school year and who are unable to stay current with library fees, notify St. Xxxxxxx School as soon as possible. It is in the best interest of the student(s) and family to keep an open line of communication with St. Xxxxxxx School to avoid such harsh actions. There are options available to families who need assistance and ask for it. Library Services. UTPB shall provide dual credit enrolled student’s access to the instructional and digital resources available on the campus of UTPB and ensure that all distance education students have access to library resources to support appropriately the courses in which the students are enrolled. These services include document delivery, electronic access to reference services, reserves, interlibrary loan, and a web page that includes ready links to services, contacts, and self-help modules. The library will regularly evaluate the effectiveness of resources provided to distance education students and will demonstrate that services are improved where appropriate. Instructors will provide distance education students information about library services.

Library Services. Area 93 residents will become part of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) and will be assigned to the Cedar Mill Community Library when the boundary change becomes operative. However, an intergovernmental agreement among the library systems in the region (including both Multnomah and Washington counties) allows any resident to receive free library services from any of the participating counties. This means that Area 93 residents may continue to receive library services from the library of their choice in either county. Library system records will need to be updated to reflect the change in county residency for Area 93 residents. Multnomah County and WCCLS will update county residency records for Area 93 residents as part of their automatic update process when patrons’ addresses are checked every two years. Fines and fees will remain with the library system where they were accumulated.
