Letter of Appointment - Adjuncts. (a) For Term Adjuncts a letter of appointment shall describe the Member’s responsibilities either for the next academic year or for the period of the appointment. The letter shall set out for the next year the courses which will be taught by the Member, the compensation per course, per term or per year, and all non-teaching obligations. If the teaching responsibilities are set out over a period longer than one (1) year, in each year the Member must be assured the minimum number of courses to remain within the Bargaining Unit.

Letter of Appointment - Adjuncts. (a) For Term, Initial and Renewable Adjuncts a letter of appointment shall describe the Member’s responsibilities either for the next academic year or for the period of the appointment. The letter shall set out for the next year the courses which will be taught by the Member, the compensation per course, per term or per year, and all non-teaching obligations. If the teaching responsibilities are set out over a period longer than one (1) year, in each year the Member must be assured the minimum number of courses to remain within the Bargaining Unit. For Continuing-track and Continuing Adjuncts Article shall apply except that the letter of appointment shall also describe the Member’s minimum guaranteed yearly workload. A new letter of appointment shall be issued whenever agreement is reached between the Member and the Head on any alteration in the Member’s minimum guaranteed yearly workload.
