Inclement Weather and Emergency Closings. 1. If an Employee is unable to report for work due to inclement weather, the lost time may be made up at the discretion of the Supervisor.
Inclement Weather and Emergency Closings. If the Superintendent deems it necessary to close school/District offices, all employees shall be paid for their regularly scheduled hours at their specific rate of pay. Those employees who work on such a day will be granted an additional vacation day. Late arrivals will be required to use benefit time for the missing time, but will be granted the extra vacation time for the hours worked for the remainder of their regularly scheduled day.
Inclement Weather and Emergency Closings. In the event of a District-wide closing paraprofessionals normally scheduled to work on those days shall be excused. In the event, however, that not all schools are closed, the affected employee may be temporarily assigned to another location or to perform other work. When schools are closed for the afternoon and professional staff members are excused, paraprofessionals previously scheduled to work the full day shall be excused for the remainder of the day.   • Emergency Closures A. The University’s inability to make a Room available to me for any reason beyond the University’s control including, but not limited to, natural disaster, fire, flood, earthquake, condemnation, pandemic, quarantine, utility malfunction, infestation, or other emergency or force majeure event shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement by the University. In such circumstances, the University shall have no liability to me in any way for injuries, reimbursement, damages, inconvenience, annoyance or compensation of any kind. The University may attempt to find, but cannot guarantee, an alternative space for me. If the unavailability of my Room or an alternative space persists for more than 72 hours, I may terminate this Agreement and Check out during said unavailability without penalty provided that I shall be responsible for all financial obligations incurred up to the date of such termination. The University agrees to provide me with a pro rata refund, calculated from the date of such termination to the end of the Agreement Period, of any prepaid housing and dining payment made to the University, and to return my Deposit pursuant to this Agreement.
