Hazardous Waste Disposal Sample Clauses

Hazardous Waste Disposal. The Subcontractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the transport, storage, treatment and disposal of regulated waste materials included in, or generated during the performance of this subcontract. The parties agree that all hazardous substances and waste are the property of the Subcontractor unless otherwise specified in a written agreement between SDSTA and SDSTA.

Hazardous Waste Disposal. Transport and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with Federal, State, local and applicable station requirements. Any off-site disposal shall be documented by provision of manifests and certificates of destruction.
Hazardous Waste Disposal. Astrotech will provide for disposal of hazardous materials, such as propellants and solvents, resulting from Payload Processing Activities pursuant to Section 6.1 of the General Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.

Hazardous Waste Disposal. Licensee shall be responsible for handling and disposal of waste and materials generated by Licensee’s operations at the Premises. All hazardous waste handling and disposal shall be performed in accordance with applicable law and Licensor’s safety guidelines.
Hazardous Waste Disposal. The Contractor shall collect and store Hazardous Waste (HW) in accordance with Shipyard requirements. Hazardous waste shall be handled in compliance with 40 CFR 260-268, 273, 279, and State of Maine Regulations Chapters 850-855 and 860. For hazardous waste spills, call the Shipyard Fire Department immediately, and then verbally notify the PCO. All HW must be placed in a Shipyard permitted Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area (HWAA) or contractors shall turn HW in to a HWAA not later than the end of the shift on which it is generated. Responsibility for compliance is upon the contractor. All hazardous wastes generated within the confines of the Shipyard are disposed of by the Government. Accordingly, all hazardous wastes generated by the contractor to accomplish requirements of this contract will be considered Government-generated, and disposed of by the Government. Contractor shall not bring hazardous wastes onto Government property.
Hazardous Waste Disposal. Tenant understands it is imperative that biohazardous and other dangerous waste material of any kind be disposed of properly to prevent injury to other persons and to prevent contamination to the environment. Tenant agrees to properly protect and dispose of by appropriate means all such biohazardous and dangerous materials including, but not limited to, (1) all sharp items (e.g., needles, syringes, blades, etc.), (2) human or animal blood or other solid or liquid waste, (3) expired or unused medications, (4) automotive wastes (e.g., oil, coolants, tires, etc.), (5) paint, (6) household chemical and cleaners, and (7) any other material classified as a medical, environmental, or regulated waste. To the extent, Tenant needs assistance to discard any such waste, including appropriate waste containers or identifying the location for appropriate disposal, Tenant should contact Lessor regarding same.
