Grant Writing. This module will present an overview of the narrative components required in the grant writing process, as well as the financial components of a grant proposal. Deliverable: Participants will understand the importance and uniqueness of each narrative component of a grant proposal as well as development of an accurate program budget. Special emphasis will be placed on the narrative and budget components required in the Orange County Citizens’ Review Panel Fund Distribution Process funding proposal. Tools • The Agency shall afford that each nonprofit organization will have access to an online webpage that will include content and communication tools. The website will have definitions and sample documents of best practices related to each module. In addition, the website will provide the opportunity for discussion and question and answer (Q&A) forums throughout the training experience. Grant Writing. This includes participation in pre-grant workshops, grant meetings and presentations, grant research and development, grant writing, and other approved grant activities outside those covered by other articles of this contract.
Grant Writing. It is recognized that monetary grants provide mutual benefit for COP ESD students and the students of the local school districts. It is also recognized that grant writing requires time and expertise. The following process provides incentives to COP ESD staff writing grant proposals:
Grant Writing. (6/01) Grant applications must be submitted in writing to the building principal and superintendent for approval. Teachers who write awarded grants will receive compensation for the value of the grant, excluding district contribution. This compensation will be received in the following manner: (5/03)
Grant Writing. Up to two (2) days of release time per year may be provided by the District, as determined by Administration of the District, for those district employees who wish to write a grant. The building principal must approve the release time and support the proposed grant. An additional day may be granted by the building principal for administering the grant if received and if the building principal believes time is needed.

Grant Writing. Main Street is possessed of staff with experience and training in the subject of grant writing. A broad range of grants are periodically made available to local communities for purposes aligned with the purposes of either or both Main Street and the EDTA. By utilizing Main Street staff for grant writing projects, the EDTA would realize the benefit of having ready and local access to grant writing services by those already familiar with, and engaged in the local community. Grants potentially awarded to the EDTA for local community development, likewise contributes to the achievement of the purposes of Main Street for the economic development of downtown areas. To these ends Main Street agrees to serve as grant writer, as needed and requested, by the EDTA during the term of this agreement. The EDTA agrees to compensate Main Street for the grant writing services as follows:
