Graduate Hours a. Effective with the 2008-2009 school year, certified bargaining unit members on the BA Base salary schedule with ten (10) or more semester hour credits shall receive twenty ($20) dollars per semester hour for all semester hours over nine, with a total maximum payment of $400 dollars.

Graduate Hours. Effective July 1, 2011 all work beyond the Bachelor’s Degree level will be compensated at the rate of $63.00 per credit hour in blocks of 3 credit hours. Effective July 1, 2012 all work beyond the Bachelor’s Degree level will be compensated at the rate of $65.00 per credit hour in blocks of 3 credit hours. Before credit hours are taken and granted for salary beyond the B.S. + 30 level, approval must be obtained from the Superintendent. Salary compensation for graduate credit course hours earned during the fall semester will be paid in regular pay checks upon official notice (i.e. transcripts) to the Superintendent that such course work has been successfully completed by the teacher. Payment at the beginning of the second semester will be 50% of that recognized at the beginning of the school year. No more than ten inservice credit hours may be used for salary purposes. This is not retroactive. Graduate Hours. A. Approved graduate hours earned before July 1, 2001 and those earned on or after July 1, 2001 will be paid as explained in Appendix A. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. All approved graduate hours either taken individually or as a portion of an approved Master's program will be paid.
