Extra-Curricular Assignment. (s) Appointments Each year the principal shall inform each staff member in his building(s) as soon as possible after the beginning of the school year, of his extra-curricular assignment(s) as recommended in writing to the Superintendent. If the Superintendent approves the recommendation, he/she shall soon thereafter inform the teacher in writing of his/her extra pay for this work as established in the Agreement, Exhibits B and C. Extra-curricular assignments are non-tenure.

Extra-Curricular Assignment. All School bus operators employed as regular operators including permanent sub operators are eligible to participate in extra curricular trips. Rosters will be maintained and posted monthly on the union board, listing those operators who are eligible and desire to participate as defined below in this program. Substitute operators are not eligible, except when the procedures listed below have been exhausted. At the start of the school year, a roster of in-county and out-of-county operators will be compiled based upon continuous service.
Extra-Curricular Assignment. ‌ Efforts will be made to fill on a voluntary basis, those extra-curricular assignments that include ticket-taking, scoring, and timing for extra-curricular events, at the stipend listed in the table for these activities. If necessary, each employee will be required to perform up to two of these duties. Salaries for extra-curricular assignments shall be in accordance with the schedule set forth in the Extracurricular Salary Schedule.
Extra-Curricular Assignment. The present teaching staff shall be informed, in writing, if there is a change in their specific extra-curricular assignment for the next school year at the earliest possible date. It is understood that changes in extra-curricular assignments made later than the end of the current school year can be made with good cause, but the teacher and the Association should receive immediate notification. If the teacher is not satisfied with the reassignment, the teacher may resign.

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Transfer/Assignment (A) Subject to compliance with clause (B) of this Section 8, this Warrant and all rights hereunder are transferable, in whole or in part, upon the books of the Company by the registered holder hereof in person or by duly authorized attorney, and a new warrant shall be made and delivered by the Company, of the same tenor and date as this Warrant but registered in the name of one or more transferees, upon surrender of this Warrant, duly endorsed, to the office or agency of the Company described in Section 3. All expenses (other than stock transfer taxes) and other charges payable in connection with the preparation, execution and delivery of the new warrants pursuant to this Section 8 shall be paid by the Company.

  • Assignment and Subcontracting City and Consultant recognize and agree that this Agreement contemplates personal performance by Consultant and is based upon a determination of Consultant’s unique personal competence, experience, and specialized personal knowledge. Moreover, a substantial inducement to City for entering into this Agreement was and is the professional reputation and competence of Consultant. Consultant may not assign this Agreement or any interest therein without the prior written approval of the City.   • Assignment; Subcontracting (a) Except as expressly provided in Section 12(b) below, this Agreement shall not be assignable or delegable, whether by merger, operation of law or otherwise, by any Fund without the written consent of BNY Mellon, or by BNY Mellon without the written consent of the affected Fund, in each case which consent may not be unreasonably withheld.   • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • ASSIGNMENT, TRANSFER, AND SUBCONTRACTING Contractor may not assign, transfer, or subcontract any portion of this contract without the Department's prior written consent.
