Dissemination of Policy. This policy and related regulations will be disseminated to all employees at the beginning of the first semester of the school year and shall be provided to each new employee. Additionally, this policy will be posted in a prominent place at each school and work site and at the MCOE office, and will become a part of every employee handbook and department manual. All administrators and supervisors shall be knowledgeable of this policy and their responsibilities for its implementation. All employees shall receive either a copy of information sheets prepared by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing or a copy of District information sheets which set forth, at a minimum, the following information:

Dissemination of Policy. The County has disseminated or will disseminate this DBE Policy statement to the Commissioners and all departments and divisions of the County. The City has disseminated or will disseminate this DBE Policy statement to the Mayor and all departments and divisions of the City. This DBE Policy statement also shall be distributed to DBEs and non-DBE business communities that currently perform, or have performed, work for the County or the City on DOT-assisted contracts by publishing this statement in general circulation, minority-focused and trade association publications, by electronic or regular mail to local disadvantaged business development organizations and by posting a copy of this DBE Policy statement on the County’s website and the City’s website. Dissemination of Policy. The District shall notify persons entitled to the notification under Section I above that the District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the education program or activity that it operates, and that it is required by Title IX and this policy not to discriminate in such a manner. Such notification must state that the requirement not to discriminate in the education program or activity extends to admission and employment, and that inquiries about the application of Title IX to the District may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, to the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education, or both. The District shall prominently display the contact information required to be listed for the Title IX Coordinator on its website, and in each handbook or catalog that it makes available to persons entitled to a notification pursuant to Section I above.
