Conducting Union Business. The District will afford reasonable time off without pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of Local No. 320 for the purposes of conducting the duties of Local No. 320. The District will allow, during working hours on the District’s premises and without loss of pay, the elected officers to attend negotiating meetings; transmit communications authorized by the Union or its officers to the District; consult with the District or his/her representative concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this Agreement. The Union shall notify the Director of Transportation of the names of all elected officers or appointed representatives and stewards.
Conducting Union Business. 1. “Union business” shall be defined to include but not be limited to any of the following: any and all activity related to the wages, hours, rates of pay, and any term or condition of employment, negotiations or processing of grievances and arbitrations, attendance at disciplinary and/or discharge meetings, attendance at meetings with bargaining unit member(s) to discuss wages, hours or any term or condition of employment.
Conducting Union Business. The Board of Education will afford reasonable time off without pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of Local No. 284 for the purposes of conducting the duties of Local No. 284. The Board of Education will allow, during working hours on the employer's premises and without loss of pay, the union stewards reasonable time to post union notices providing this activity does not unreasonably interfere with regular duties; attend negotiating meetings; transmit communications authorized by the union or its officers to the employer; consult with the employer or his representative concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this agreement.
Conducting Union Business. A. No union member or officer or job xxxxxxx shall conduct any union business on Township time except as specified in this Agreement.
Conducting Union Business. Union business/activities shall not be conducted on an employee's scheduled work time except as specifically provided for in other section(s) of this Agreement; nor shall such business/activities interfere with University programs and operations.
Conducting Union Business. The Union agrees that neither the Union or its members shall conduct Union activities on Company time, or during working hours other than collective bargaining with Management or the handling of grievances properly arising out of this Agreement.
Conducting Union Business. 1. The Township shall permit members of the PBA grievance committee (not to exceed one (1)) to conduct the business of the committee, which shall consist of conferring with employees and management on specific grievances in accordance with the grievance procedure set forth herein, during the duty hours of the members without loss of pay, provided the conduct of said business shall not diminish the effectiveness of the police department or require the recall of off-duty policemen to bring the department to its proper effectiveness.
Conducting Union Business. The Union is authorized to conduct Union business in the facility in non-work areas and non-work time. Non-work areas will not be in the tower cab and shall be as designated by the Manager. Section 3.
Conducting Union Business. The Employer agrees that during working hours, on the employer's premises, local PBLC staff representatives shall be allowed to: - post Union Notices; - investigate grievances; - attend grievance meetings; - attend negotiating meetings; - transmit communications, authorized by the local Union or its office, to the Employer or his representative. Staff employees shall notify the supervisor in charge and not interfere with employees during their working time. Local PBLC staff representative shall mean stewards, bargaining team representatives and members of the Executive Board of the Ottawa PBLC. However, only those local PBLC staff representatives reasonably necessary to perform the particular item of union business shall be permitted to do so under the provisions of this section.
Conducting Union Business. The BOARD and the UNION agree that the conducting of UNION business shall not interfere in the educational program of the schools. The BOARD and the UNION further agree that TEACHERS shall not engage in UNION organizational activity during assigned teaching time or time during which they have other assigned responsibilities.
