Computing Time. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default from which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.

Computing Time. 9.6.1 When this Agreement refers to a period of time by a number of days, the period shall be computed to exclude the first and include the last day of the period. If the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, that day shall be omitted from the computation and the period shall end on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.
Computing Time. In computing length of service to determine seniority, lost time due to sickness or accident shall be counted as time worked, up to a maximum of six (6) consecutive months of such absence. Employees who are absent for periods in excess of six (6) months, excluding WCB absences, shall retain their seniority but will not accumulate seniority for absences over the six (6) month period.
