CLEANUP AND PROTECTIONS. 15.1 Contractor agrees to keep the Project site clean at all times of debris, rubbish and waste materials arising out of the Work. At the completion of the Work, Contractor shall remove all debris, rubbish and waste materials from and about the Project site, as well as all tools, appliances, construction equipment and machinery and surplus materials, and shall leave the Project site clean and ready for occupancy by Owner.

CLEANUP AND PROTECTIONS. 18.1 Construction Contractor agrees to keep the Project site clean at all times of debris, rubbish and waste materials arising out of the Work. If Construction Contractor fails to keep the Project site clean, Owner has the right, after providing a twenty-four (24) hour written notice, to perform any required clean up and to backcharge Construction Contractor for the costs of such clean up. At the completion of the Work, Construction Contractor shall remove all debris, rubbish and waste materials from and about the Project site, as well as all tools, appliances, construction equipment and machinery and surface materials, and shall leave the Project site clean and ready for occupancy by Owner.

Any existing surface or subsurface improvements, including, but not limited to, pavements, curbs, sidewalks, pipes, utilities, footings, structures, trees and shrubbery, not indicated in the Contract Documents to be removed or altered, shall be protected by Construction Manager from damage during the prosecution of the Work. Any such improvements so damaged shall be restored by Construction Manager to condition at least equal to that existing at the time of Construction Manager’s commencement of the Work.
