BID SURETY. If Special Conditions require a bid security, it shall be submitted in the amount stated. A bid security can be in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders as soon as practicable after opening of bids. Bid security will be returned to the successful bidder after acceptance of the performance bond, if required; acceptance of insurance coverage, if required; and full execution of contract documents, if required; or conditions as stated in Special Conditions.

BID SURETY. Each offer shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total offer. Checks or bonds are to be made payable to Escambia County, Florida. The amount of the check or bond is the amount of liquidated damages agreed upon should the Offeror fail or refuse to enter into a contract with the County. A County warrant in the amount of the bid check(s) of the successful Offeror(s) will be returned immediately after the Offeror and the County are mutually bound by the contract as evidenced by signatures thereto by an authorized representative of both the Offeror and the County, and/or the Offeror accepts the Purchase Order by signing the Solicitation, Offer, and Bid Form and returning to the County Purchasing department. Any unsuccessful Offeror(s) will have the amounts of their cashier’s or certified check returned via County warrant promptly after award. All Offerors agree that any interest earned on any bid surety while in possession of the County, or its agents, shall be retained by the County.

BID SURETY. Response to this Invitation to Bid shall include a bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
BID SURETY. When requested, a bidder must furnish a Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of his bid, or for the stated amount shown in the solicitation. Bid Bonds must be executed by a reliable Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Rhode Island. Failure to provide Bid Surety with bid may be cause for rejection of bid. The Bid Surety of any three bidders in contention will be held until an award has been made according to the specifications of each proposal. All others will be returned by mail within 48 hours following the bid opening. Upon award of a contract, the remaining sureties will be returned by mail unless instructed to do otherwise.
BID SURETY. 12.1 Bids shall be accompanied by the Bid Surety, as defined in the Special Terms and Conditions. The Bid Surety must come in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or surety bond; made payable to the “Public Safety Association Inc. c/o Eagle County Paramedic Services”; and conditioned upon PSAI awarding the Contract to Bidder. In the event Bidder fails to comply with the Contract, the Bid Surety may be forfeited as liquidated damages.
BID SURETY. The Bid Surety requirement is one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for work and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check (on a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota), or a bidder’s bond made payable, without conditions, to “Public Safety Association Inc. c/o Eagle County Paramedic Services,” in an amount of $1,000.00. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days of submission. Bidder selecting to use the electronic bid submittal process, shall copy the bid surety and include the copy in the electronic submittal package, with a note stating it was placed in the mail.   • Submitting Competitive Bids (i) The Administrative Agent shall promptly notify each Lender of each Bid Request received by it from the Borrower and the contents of such Bid Request.

  • Competitive Bid Procedure (a) In order to request Competitive Bids, the Borrower shall hand deliver or telecopy to the Administrative Agent a duly completed Competitive Bid Request in the form of Exhibit E-1, to be received by the Administrative Agent (i) in the case of a LIBOR Competitive Borrowing, not later than 10:00 a.m., New York City time, four Business Days before a proposed Competitive Borrowing and (ii) in the case of a Fixed Rate Borrowing, not later than 10:00 a.m., New York City time, one Business Day before a proposed Competitive Borrowing. No ABR Loan shall be requested in, or made pursuant to, a Competitive Bid Request. A Competitive Bid Request that does not conform substantially to the format of Exhibit E-1 may be rejected in the Administrative Agent's sole discretion, and the Administrative Agent shall promptly notify the Borrower of such rejection by telecopier. Such request for Competitive Bids shall in each case refer to this Agreement and specify (i) whether the Borrowing then being requested is to be a LIBOR Borrowing or a Fixed Rate Borrowing, (ii) the date of such Borrowing (which shall be a Business Day) and the aggregate principal amount thereof, which shall be in a minimum principal amount of $10,000,000 and in an integral multiple of $5,000,000, and (iii) the Interest Period with respect thereto (which may not end after the Maturity Date). Promptly after its receipt of a Competitive Bid Request that is not rejected as aforesaid, the Administrative Agent shall invite by telecopier (in the form set forth in Exhibit E-2) the Lenders to bid, on the terms and subject to the conditions of this Agreement, to make Competitive Loans pursuant to the Competitive Bid Request.

  • Conditions Precedent to Each Competitive Bid Borrowing The obligation of each Lender that is to make a Competitive Bid Advance on the occasion of a Competitive Bid Borrowing to make such Competitive Bid Advance as part of such Competitive Bid Borrowing is subject to the conditions precedent that (i) the Agent shall have received the written confirmatory Notice of Competitive Bid Borrowing with respect thereto, (ii) on or before the date of such Competitive Bid Borrowing, but prior to such Competitive Bid Borrowing, the Agent shall have received a Competitive Bid Note payable to the order of such Lender for each of the one or more Competitive Bid Advances to be made by such Lender as part of such Competitive Bid Borrowing, in a principal amount equal to the principal amount of the Competitive Bid Advance to be evidenced thereby and otherwise on such terms as were agreed to for such Competitive Bid Advance in accordance with Section 2.03, and (iii) on the date of such Competitive Bid Borrowing the following statements shall be true (and each of the giving of the applicable Notice of Competitive Bid Borrowing and the acceptance by the Borrower of the proceeds of such Competitive Bid Borrowing shall constitute a representation and warranty by the Borrower that on the date of such Competitive Bid Borrowing such statements are true):

  • Requesting Competitive Bids The Company may request the submission of Competitive Bids by delivering a Bid Request to the Administrative Agent not later than 12:00 noon (i) one Business Day prior to the requested date of any Bid Borrowing that is to consist of Absolute Rate Loans, or (ii) four Business Days prior to the requested date of any Bid Borrowing that is to consist of Eurocurrency Margin Bid Loans. Each Bid Request shall specify (i) the requested date of the Bid Borrowing (which shall be a Business Day), (ii) the aggregate principal amount of Bid Loans requested (which must be $10,000,000 or a whole multiple of $1,000,000 in excess thereof), (iii) the Type of Bid Loans requested, (iv) the requested currency and (v) the duration of the Interest Period with respect thereto, and shall be signed by a Responsible Officer of the Company. No Bid Request shall contain a request for (i) more than one Type of Bid Loan or (ii) Bid Loans having more than three different Interest Periods. Unless the Administrative Agent otherwise agrees in its sole and absolute discretion, the Company may not submit a Bid Request if it has submitted another Bid Request within the prior five Business Days.

  • The Competitive Bid Advances (a) Each Lender severally agrees that the Borrower may make Competitive Bid Borrowings under this Section 2.03 from time to time on any Business Day during the period from the date hereof until the date occurring 30 days prior to the Termination Date in the manner set forth below; provided that, following the making of each Competitive Bid Borrowing, the aggregate amount of the Advances then outstanding shall not exceed the aggregate amount of the Commitments of the Lenders (computed without regard to any Competitive Bid Reduction).
