Bereavement Leave During Vacation. If an employee is on vacation at the time of bereavement, the employee shall be granted bereavement leave and shall have the number of days of bereavement leave added to her vacation entitlement.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. Where an employee’s scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a bereavement situation, the employee shall be entitled to substitute bereavement leave as per Article 16.03.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. During an Employee's vacation, if there is a bereavement for which an Employee is entitled to bereavement leave under Article 15.07, the Employee shall, upon request and proper notification to the Employer, be considered to be on bereavement leave. The period of vacation so displaced shall be rescheduled in accordance with Article 16.05.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. An employee qualifying for bereavement leave during leave for annual vacation shall be entitled to defer vacation entitlement equal to the entitled bereavement leave and which shall be taken at such time as may be mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave during the employee's vacation period, the Employer agrees to continue its practice that there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. The vacation period so displaced shall be added to the end of the scheduled vacation leave.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. Should an employee qualify for bereavement leave during an approved scheduled vacation, the Employer shall credit the vacation bank for the amount of the bereavement as outlined in sections (a) and (b) of this clause.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. Where an employee qualifies for bereavement leave or receives Weekly Indemnity benefits during a period of vacation, there shall be no deduction from vacation credits for bereavement leave absence or absence during the period Weekly Indemnity Benefits were paid to the employee.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. A Nurse who while on vacation qualified for bereavement leave shall, on written notification to the VON, have the Nurse’s vacation leave credited with the number of days for which the Nurse was entitled to bereavement leave.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. When an employee qualifies for bereavement leave or compassionate leave while on paid vacation, they shall be able to take such time without loss of vacation time.
Bereavement Leave During Vacation. Only where an Employee’s spouse, common-law spouse, brother, sister, parent, parent-in-law, step-parent, child, grandchild, step-child or common-law spouse’s child dies or whose funeral occurs during the Employee’s scheduled vacation shall the Employee be entitled to Bereavement Leave under Clause 15.01 in lieu of scheduled vacation. Scheduled vacation so replaced by Bereavement Leave shall be rescheduled to a time suitable to both the Company and the Employee.
