Association Delegate Leave. Any official delegate of the JCEA under contract to the Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxx School District shall be entitled to attend conferences as representatives of the JCEA without loss of pay, providing that such request is approved by the President and his/her designee. Except in emergency or unusual situations, as determined by the superintendent, such business leave will not be permitted on the last school day prior to or the first school day following a recess period or during parent conference days. Association Delegate Leave. 1. No more than three (3) delegates representing the Association shall be granted leave with pay to attend meetings of the OEA Representative Assembly. Such leave shall not exceed two (2) days per elected delegate in a school year. One day of Delegate leave may also be used by the Association President for Association purposes. In addition to the one (1) day of Delegate leave, the Association President or designated delegate may use up to two (2) additional days of paid leave from any available professional leave for Association purposes. Any expense incurred by such delegate(s) shall not be the obligation of the Board.

  • Union Delegates The Employer recognizes the right of the Union to designate Union Delegates who shall be authorized to take up employee or group grievances through the grievance procedure. A Union Delegate who is a bargaining unit employee and is processing a grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure shall be permitted a reasonable time to assist in the resolution of legitimate employee grievances on the Employer's property without loss of pay. Such time off for processing grievances shall be granted by supervision following a request, but in consideration of any job responsibilities.

  • Union Delegate 32.5 Where an Employee is elected by Employees of the Employer as a Union Delegate, and the Union notifies the Employer of this election, the Employee will be classified as the higher of CW4, or the Employees usual classification.   • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.

  • Association Leaves 1. The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid released time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Aggregate Leave The aggregate amount of leave of absence from employment that may be taken by an employee under Article 21.1 and 21.2 in respect of the birth or adoption of any one child shall not exceed fifty-two (52) weeks, except as provided under Article 21.1(f) and/or 21.2(d). Where an employee is granted total maternity leave under Articles 21.1(a) and 21.1(f) of greater than fifty-two (52) weeks, the employee shall not be entitled to parental leave under Article 21.2.

  • Association Leave Days The School Board will provide twenty (20) days to be used as Association Leave Days. The Polk Education Association agrees to reimburse the District for the cost of substitutes.

  • ASSOCIATION LEAVE AND SECONDMENT 13.1 A teacher shall be granted leave of absence with pay provided the School Division is reimbursed by the Association for the actual costs of the substitute, including the School Division portion of statutory benefit contributions, to fulfill the duties as an elected or appointed member of the Provincial Executive Council, Discipline and Practice Review Committees, and central and local table negotiating committees.
