A Definitions. For all purposes of this Agreement (as defined below), the following terms shall have the respective meanings set forth in this Section 1.A (such definitions to be equally applicable to both the singular and plural forms of the terms herein defined):

A Definitions a. Grievance - A grievance shall be defined as an alleged violation concerning the interpretation or application of any provision of this Agreement.
A Definitions. 1. A grievance is hereby defined to mean a dispute concerning the meaning, interpretation, or appli- cation of any of the provisions of this Agreement except where this Agreement states otherwise.
A Definitions. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Amendment shall have the meaning given to them in the Credit Agreement.

Definition: A grievance is any difference arising between the Board and the Union or any member or group of members of the Union with respect to the interpretation or application of this Agreement and any attached amendments. All time limits herein shall consist of student attendance days except that when a grievance is submitted less than five (5) days before the close of the current school term, or during the summer vacation period, time limits shall consist of working days so that the matter may be resolved before the close of the school term or as soon as possible thereafter. At a member’s request, the Union may be present and act on behalf of a member at any and all informal and formal meetings that are held for the purposes of investigating and processing a grievance.
